We grow a large acreage of wheat each year, some for livestock feed and around half for milling.
Which goes into making bread and biscuits for the UK consumer. We also produce spring barley, some of which goes into the brewing industry with the remainder used to feed the cattle. Oilseed rape is grown on the farm for the rapeseed oil industry, as well as the biofuel market and our peas are for the frozen pea market with Birdseye.
We recently started growing potatoes which are processed for supermarkets such as Morrisons and the catering industry. We take great pride in the crops we grow with all our produce being red tractor certified.
